About MeMy name is Devina Lester and I’m the owner of Shiatsu Bodywork based in Wilden, a village just outside of Bedford.
My journey with Shiatsu started in 2010. I was suffering from stress and tension after being made redundant following Local Government re-organisation; Shiatsu literally turned my life around. |
Shiatsu for youA holistic therapy that looks to treat the whole person on all levels - physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual aspects - not just the area of immediate concern which is often seen as a symptom to a deeper cause.
Shiatsu is a combination of oriental energy medicine theories of understanding the body and modern understanding of anatomy and physiology. When used correctly Shiatsu is useful for emotional pain as well as physical pain and has psychological benefits, including improving self confidence. |
Equine ShiatsuShiatsu if received regularly can alleviate the build-up of stresses and strains of any work you or your horse is undertaking, as well as maintain overall health and well-being. Shiatsu can also help with general symptoms of stress and poor health as well as specific issues.
By working with energy pathways and acupressure points and by tapping into the body's innate wisdom to find alignment and heal itself. |
Bodywork Has Never Felt So GoodI’m a qualified Shiatsu practitioner. I regard each patient as a whole rather than an illness to be defeated. I believe in nurturing, rather than battling against the body and see Shiatsu as a collaboration between myself and a client. Get in touch with me today to start healing your mind, body, and spirit.
